Who uses MSS more often?
Of course, the first thing every beginner should familiarise himself with is the information. And even if you already have a little experience, new knowledge should not be neglected. Nowadays poker is experiencing its popularity again and there are more and more players who prefer playing for real money. Another group of players are those who use a full stack BSS strategy. But why change their strategy from long to medium? Here it is quite simple. For example, someone made some progress on the NL25 limit and now wants to go to the 50 limit.
You could analyze the situation more accurately. For example, a player who has $1,000 and is maxed out on NL25 with a full 40 buy-in stack would be fine. The NL50 is a 20 buy-in game. At that rate the game can be played comfortably, but if you want to go higher and continue there, you need 50 buy-ins and that is more than enough.
It is also used by poker players who used to use BSS but played with a lower spin rate. And a medium stack gives an opportunity to keep the win rate at a given level, and thanks to rakebates there will be additional profit. And that is what allows you to raise your bankroll and start playing on a higher limit.
There are really a lot of players now on medium stacks, and even when the bankroll is enough to move up to the next level, the game still continues on the chosen strategy. This is quite the right decision, and everyone chooses for themselves what is more suitable and satisfying.
